Karen has been locally and internationally published in the San Francisco Chronicle, Marin Independent Journal, and IKEEPSAFE, an international coalition of more than 100 policy leaders, educators, law enforcement members, technology experts, public health experts, and advocates. Karen wrote the Comprehensive Student Assessment of Needs (C-SAN) and Parent Handbooks: A Guide to Post-Treatment and A Guide to Teens, Technology, & Social Media. And in 2018, she was the keynote speaker at the US Journal Conference in Newport Beach, CA.
